Car-x uses press bends. but it would be fine for a d-series, or close to stock b-series

Correct me if I'm wrong, but won't you see more gain with a 3 in. exhaust on a turbo app?

You'll just lose a bit of backpressure...
I know for sure it will SOUND worse than a 2.5"

yes but 3 inch on a non turbo car wouldnt be very good. and since i dont know when im gonna get enough money i figured i would just go with 2.5. thats the minimum for a turbo car from what ive read/heardObsesionWitSped;90866 wrote:Correct me if I'm wrong, but won't you see more gain with a 3 in. exhaust on a turbo app?

i went from a 2.25 to a 3" turbo back on the wrx. i would say that the biggest differance was spool up time. i was getting full boost about 400-600 rpm sooner with the bigger piping. also added a few horse. most turbo cars stock are under 2.5".
also back in the 90's, me and my buddies were running 3" on our cars (4age corolla, ka 240). backpressure is bullshit. even on a nonturbo car.
my ae92 with a 1.6 liter dropped from a 15.3 to a 15.1 changing from a 60mm pipe to a 75mm pipe
oh and a catless 3" on a turbo car sounds better than ANYTHING in the world(besides 4")
