o2 sensor wiring question

if you wire an o2 wrong will it cause the engine to run a smooth
high idle ???

I do not believe an O2 sensor has anything to do with the idle

if i wired it wrong then i would get a check engine light right

the reason i ask is because i wired in a a/f gauge and it stays rich at idle unless i down shift and let off the clutch when im driving

i finally fixed it i fixed the fast idle valve the plastic white screw needed to be ajusted thanks and close thread

nothing it was the fast idle valve i just thought that it could be the o2 i have herd stories of if they wire it wrong then it will run rich like my a/f gauge

thanks for everybodys help i found a really good write up on the net but didnt know how everyone on this site would react to linking something from honda-tec on this site(isnt there some kind of rule that your not suposed to do that on here)

Post that bish! Alot of arguements here end up/involve links/quotes from Honda-Tech and other sites.
