no i know that the strokes will be different and that you can't mix crank and different pistons and rods unless you wanna hit a valve ( i think ) but does anyone know how to tell the difference between an ls and gsr crank when looking at them???

iam doing a bottom end rebuild and there was already a motor swap done to it before i got it. a ls/vtec swap, and i don't know if he used a gsr crank or an ls crank so i know what type of rods to get for the stroke. you know what i mean, i can't mix up gsr rods with a ls crank. (from what i know)

well... if there are no markings on the crank to help you, start looking at the rods

if it is a stock rod, it will say pr4 or p72 on it
