help with intake manifold!
This being the intake manifold I presume, Check the TPS and the MAP sensor on the TB cause there both the same plug and can easly swapped on accident.jdmjerry07;90166 wrote:So I did the install last night, got everything hooked up correctly in all areas, and when I tightened everything up this morning and turning it on it sounds like its miss firing or something? Kinda sounds like a subi? The check engine light is now flashing to instead of being just on, I have no idea whats going on and were to get ahold of a obd2 to test it for starters. Any help would be great I need to get my car running.

they are both the same voltage plugs so it doesn't matter if they are swapped out or not. I would check your MAP and possible swp it out with your old map sensor and see if that helps. also I would checl your fast idle valve to make sure that its clean.90CivicEx;90207 wrote:This being the intake manifold I presume, Check the TPS and the MAP sensor on the TB cause there both the same plug and can easly swapped on accident.

I think your wrong, they may be the same voltage but swapping them will allow the car to act shitty. Ask runsonrice he did this twice, in fact why don't you go do it yourself on your car and listen to it cause it will sound like shit...well at least runsonrice's did lol.HondaChild;90260 wrote:they are both the same voltage plugs so it doesn't matter if they are swapped out or not. are your injectors sitting in the IM 0-rings right? maybe a vacuum leak?
i remember when i put the skunk2 IM on my 97 ex, i had a problem with the injectors sitting all the way in the manifold. so i had to go to the hardware store and pick up 4 o-rings and use them as spacers under the o-rings in the manifold. i've never had a vacuum leak from doing this.
they were 13/16 x 9/16 x 1/8 o-rings

Did you clear the codes on the computer after you did the swap? You prolly want to do that, and let it run at an idle for awhile, and see if any codes pop up.

Youll get the subbie sound from injectors. Check to make sure you have the clips in the right order.
