K series Swap????

Anyone have experience swapping in a K series? Im going to be buying a 94 integra ls in about a month and wanting to swap a k20a2 into it. Im ordering the full conversion from HMO motorsports, and i've been reading its quite the swap lol. Anyone? Thanks!

ok so ill tell ya that im in the middle of building a k to swap into an ek, are you prepared for the money you will spend? and the swap is not direct. stuff will need to be replace, cut ,swaped out, re routed... it's not like putting a B series in. if you realy wont to do it start reading, and keep reading and do not expect it to happen over night by any means it look like it will be some time next winter before i even get around to putting the motor in the car.

i can't remember any specifics for the dc's, have only read up on EF's and EK's. more power to ya though, i hope it works out for ya, but your not going to find anyone on this board with the experience your talken. we have put K's in cars that they belong in but no hybrid K's around here YET...... :PDT_out:

define "hybrid K". if you think putting a complete k20 or k24 motor into another vehicle that did not come stock with that motor (e.g.- K20 in a civic), it is not a hybrid. Its just a motor swap. A "hybrid K" would be mating a k20 head with a K24 block. Myself and others on the board who have ls/vtec, cr-vtec, the mini-me's, or even a Fxx/Hxx (if anyone has one on the board) are hybrids. i'm not bashing. just dont want people getting the wrong idea.

??? So if its just called a motor swapped car, then isnt you lsvtec just a head swapped motor technically? hybrid=gas+electric car, not lsvtec or any other worthless head swap(IMO).

I think I've heard of other ways, but welding is preferred.
