headgasket???

I am going to get an OEM dizzy today to see if it will help any. Lets hope so!

okay got a code reader and it says....

P0108 MAP/BARO circuit High Input

I know what the map sensor is. I switched the plugs around on the TPS and MAP and it still did nothing.

But I dont know what it means by circuit high Input.

Okay so now I have 2 CEL's. the 2nd one is

P0106 MAP/BARO CKT Range/Perfor

I guess basicly everyone gave up on helping me since there has been 329 veiws and 61 posts mostly mine.

having the map and the tps hooked up backwards wont do anything because they both work on 0-5 volts.

so the voltage going to the map sensor is out of wack, perhaps you have a short in the wire to it?

and now since we all cannot drop what we are doing to go help you and youre getting mad at us because we are not stopping what we are doing to help you, i am done helping.

that is not exactly what I was saying Rick; I was meaning that out of all the veiws not even 1/2 posted, and I know that atleast 10 people on here have some sort of idea or have seen/heard of what could be happening with my car and they aren't posting. I for some reason feel that no one was taking me seriously.

The car is running back to the way it was before it started missing, but it is still smoking pretty bad. Could it be running rich and that is causing it to smoke?

Yeah more problems!

Okay so the car started to run decent and so I took it for a test drive and during the drive the tach needle was jumping alot when I put about 1/2 pressure on the throttle or more. The car would back fire a bit.

On the way back home the car would not even stay running unless I kept the revs up and if it tried to idle it would die. So now my car is sitting dead in the middle of my driveway as it starts to snow.

Oh yeah and I got a P1509 code that I is the main engine harness relay.

its your ignitor if th tachs dancing

okay well I rebuilt my stock dizzy to run the oem internalcoil and it still does it when I get on the gas pretty hard.

the ignitor isnt the coil. its the sensor your dizzy harness plugs into. if it goes bad or starts to go bad, your tach dancing is a sure sign
