Yes I'm sure that I am getting spark but I will double check since I used an extra spark plug I had laying around so I will try it with the plugs that are actually in the car. and I am also 98% sure that I have the firing order correct as I marked the dizzy when I put the MSD dizzy on the car.Spork;84349 wrote:This:
is NOT true. are you 100% sure that you get spark in the cylinders?
and have you double checked the firing order on the dizzy?
honda firing order (I know for b-series, and it should be the same for d-series),if you are looking at it from straight on, should be like this:
dizzy:
3 4
1 2
Motor:
4 3 2 1

no and it would be rather since I have a MODIFIED distributor to eliminate the internal coil. and if you read I have spark going to the spark plugs.civicex442;84401 wrote:did you do this yet?

okay so once I shut the car off and it cooled down I went to start it back up to test drive it, it would not start again. It is doing the same thing as before.

I took the plugs out turned the motor over a few times. left them out while I was at work(2 hours) then put them back in and it started right up.Spork;84501 wrote:what did you do to get it to start?
Ig to it to start again and this time I got video of it running. It does not seem like it is running on all 4 cylinders. What would cause this? and the plugs are black. I will have the video up in a minute.
