ok im dropping an 01 b18b. i will have a CAI, header, 2.5 inch exhaust, stage 2 clutch and an 8lb flywheel with a 99 SI tranny. i was thinking about taking it to gateway as soon as i can to see what it runs. i was thinking i could get 14s pretty easy. i was trying to go for a about a 14.5 but ive talked to people on other forums and they talk like il be more like mid 15s. a gsr in a civic will do low 15s and i figured i could take one with the mods and the tranny. so am i crazy for thinking 14.5?

i say with DR's you could do it.

o ya fix your post gsr's are b18c's not b's

what car is this in?

i would guess unless it is a crx or a lightweight hatch that you might see 15.5... b18b's are dogshit slow

its in a 97 coupe. even with those mods and the SI tranny still only 15's?

yup... the b16a2 in the EM1 SI has 16 more hp outta the box and runs 15.7's...

GSR motor has 28 more hp outta the box....which you will not make up with I/H/E

I've watched CRX's and 'lightweight' hatches still only run 15's with B16's and those mods

i was seriously considering an ls vtec but idk yet if i will. i gotta save up before i can do anything
