I think I found your problem. Get Oem wires and go from there. I have had those shitty ass Auto Zone wires break/go bad/and cause misfiring a 1000 times before buying quality shit.

with the new wires and plugs the car is not doing it as bad as with the autolite wires i had on the car

Understandable, It may be better. I would still TRY Oem wires if someone has some you can borrow. They may not be bad but I know they are junk
