Opinion on building my motor

Post by 90CivicEx »

I honestly didn't wanna go through everyone's posts but I see it looks to be a good build with simple hp/tq jump.

I'm not seeing though if your staying N/A or turboing or what though, and a better write up on what fuel managment and what your gonna use for tuning would be more helpful.

I think I remember talking to you about a heavy turbo build and wanting to push high numbers and whatnot, are you planing to sleeve or block gaurd or anything?

As for a help um ARP everything cause I trust it over the factory studs and bolts.

In anycase keep up the good work and I would like to see a timeline of your build in pictures and a write up.

LOL, did you read more then the title of the thread?

I expect to lose horsepower by installing just the block. Its low compression.

For future reference, Vitara=Turbo Build. Fuel management doesn't matter at all at this point. Its a block with upgraded rods and lower compression pistons, nothing that would require a tune. And I'm pretty sure I told you 3 weeks ago I was using 1000cc injectors.

No block guard, those are junk. I don't need sleeves. I'm blockposting the motor with the stock sleeves, that will be more then enough for my setup.

If you read my post, you'll notice that I have ARP rod bolts and head studs.

They're probably won't be much of a time line. I'm just going to take everything to a shop, get it balanced, and have them put it together.

Thanks for the help everyone. I'll be balancing the motor.
