when people post things like this, a lot of the times it gives people who have no idea what they are talking about a false sense of knowledge on subjects, then they become cocky. youre right, i didnt have to post that or take the time to read this, but the same to you with my post. And i-vtec, is not independent vtec, it is intelligent vtec99preludesh;72879 wrote:I really dont understand why people insist on posting something like "wow, that was gay."
Were you forced to read it? NO then once you got passes the first term you could have stopped and left the thread, its is simple as that. It took you 4 more seconds out of your life you could have had to go onto the next thread than to post something idiotic like that.
Also some people dont know EVERY single car term. Some people abbreviate things when talking so now if you dont know you can know.
i can definitely see that happening, but its made even worse when the information is wrong. put correct definitions up and it CAN be a useful toolbildo16;72916 wrote:when people post things like this, a lot of the times it gives people who have no idea what they are talking about a false sense of knowledge on subjects, then they become cocky. youre right, i didnt have to post that or take the time to read this, but the same to you with my post. exactly, i just now read nearly all of them and there are AT LEAST 10 incorrect definitions on there.budget_crx;72919 wrote:i can definitely see that happening, but its made even worse when the information is wrong. put correct definitions up and it CAN be a useful tool
Then tell me those 10 errors instead of making a rude postbildo16;72920 wrote:exactly, i just now read nearly all of them and there are AT LEAST 10 incorrect definitions on there.

-A bench seat is a seat that extends the full width of the front of the car, one seat un-split.
-Compression ratio has nothing to do when the plug fires, thats called timing, which is expressed in degrees of advancement or retardation.
-Already covered i-vtec, intelligent, not independent
-Mugen is no way hondas "in house tuner" the only connection they have is that the mugen founder is the son of hondas founder
-oversteer is when the rear wheels do not track behind the front wheels
-understeer is when the front wheels dont follow the direction the driver is trying to go , also known as pushing, or being "tight"
Nah they arent important, lol jk tell me what to put and I'll add it.soundqjr;72925 wrote:Also no love for the non H motors.....lol its cool bc its from a prelude site.
