So your taking out a motor that has 200HP and 195TRQ for a motor with 200HP and 145TRQ?

What kind of parts are you looking for?

That v6 is dogshit, so almost any swap would be an improvement. Still yet, parts for something like that would be hard to come by. A shop in Springfield swapped an H22 + 5spd into an auto CL of the same year, but I'm not sure how much of that was custom work. Just do what I did: get rid of the turd and buy another turd that's easier to work with.

from what i understand it's verry difficult to swap a 4 banger into an accord that was orriginally a 6. They have diff. motor mounts and in the case of the 94-97 the bay itself was made differently, now I'm not sure if its the same with the 98-01 accord but guess is that it would be.

well, you can probably find parts that you will need at the junk yard (like mounts, brackets, wiring harnesses, computer, etc).

If it's a good swap or not depends on what your ultimate goal is. Do u just need a different engine, or do you want to mod the thing? The f20 probably has more potential due to parts availability.

honda did an awesome write up on swaping a this motor combo in to your accord
they call it the mustang killer

take a j35 block
j30a4 heads
j30a2 pistons
aem engine management
cl-s 6 speed trans
and then they say make a custom twin turbo kit
the swap is pricey but they say it is well worth it

if you wanna read more about it check out the july 2006 issue of honda tunning

98-01 Bays/ crossmembers are the same.

Seems, well it is a HUGE waste. Welcome to no torque. Swap out a better/ newer V6, or supercharge it.
