...Isn't the manifold side the more important number? if the butterfly and manifold opening are at 62, I say you leave the listed size at 62.

I would hope that people would have the logic to ether get an aftermarket manifold, or port the existing manifold.Spork;87903 wrote:...Isn't the manifold side the more important number? if the butterfly and manifold opening are at 62, I say you leave the listed size at 62.

huh? I am saying that just because it inlet opening is 66mm doesn't make the t/b a 66mm unit. if the butterfly and intake side of the throttlebody are 62 (which you can clearly see in his second picture), then it is a 62mm throttlebody. this where they are all measured.
This is also why the h22 t/b was listed at 60mm:
If anyone has an h22 t/b I will gladly bring over one of my metric rulers and we can measure the manifold side to settle this once and for all tho, I also prefer a ruler to internet numbers.

that would be Top End Motorsports, a reputable shop and superhonda sponsor.TOP END MS wrote:the H22 throttle bodys are a 62mm @ the inlet and tapered to 60mm @ the intake manifold.
