dust, bad wiring, water, vibration

Are you using the same cap and gasket?

no, a buildup of dust in the cap(its rare but it can happen if you have a really bad gasket)

vibrations have always been bad for electronics. If you have a bad etching on a circuit it can be shaken loose over time. I have never herd of this issue on a honda but other companies have this issue.

whats exactly going bad with the dizzy are you trouble shooting them or just replacing them. If you have replaced more then one in a 6 month period something is wrong somewhere. I would say your probley buring out the ignitors this could be caused by a wiring issue, but you really need to eliminate whats going bad. And there are only 3 parts that go bad

-ignitor
-coil
-crank angle sensor

when i replace it last week the car was fine, and now it's doing the same thing again..so im lead to beleve it's the dizzy.

All ready fixed/checked
cap
rotor
grounds
plugs/gapping
plug wires
fuel filter
charged battery (hey it was low)
my last guess is fuel pump. so im kinda stuck with the dizzy for now since when replaced it fixes it.

me and everyone i talk to are at a lose.

i hope youre not replacing them with remanufactured dizzys (i.e. dizzy king, autozone, etc)

why dont you tell us exactly what inside them is going bad. that would be a start.

no offence but if you can't take a hynes manual and trouble shoot why the Dizzys going bad you really need to sell your honda and buy a geo metro because you should not own a swapped honda with out knowing how to trouble shoot issues like this.

get a manual, look up the dizzy troubleshoot guide andf figure out why you keep having these issues so you can fix the problem and get the car running right.
