92 Accord wont start

ok so my Accord early in the morning after being off for the night will start up with no problems. then later on in the day if i wish to start it i have to try to start it and if it fails come back in 10 minutes and try again sometimes this works sometimes...not so much. now ive heard that it could be the hot weather but it has done it in cold weather as well. i have also heard that it could be the fuel filter... any ideas?
