So the cars been sitting alot lately as im finishing up projects and working on a few things but today i wanted to take a quick 5 minute drive'. When i started the car i turned on my ac sense my girl was going with me but no luck, no air out of any of the vents, no heat either'
So heres the break-down'.
When the key is set in "prime", ac is turned "on", power is set to speed 1-4 the fan kicks on and is spinning like it should, no air comes from any of the air vents. When ac is off, fan turns off. When power is set to 1-4 and ac is off, heat is on the fan does not spin, nor does any heat come from any of the vents or any air period'.
I havnt driven the car for a couple months besides a few trips here and there to test things and today was probably the first day i actually kicked on the ac sense my last downtime session. I do remember about 2 months ago before the downtime the ac worked perfect, it was ice cold'.
What would cause this issue? The fan obviously works as it kicks on with ac, stays off with heat, but no air comes out of my vents....what would cause no air to actually be circulated?...ive never had any issues with any ac components before so im not that familar with the set-up'
Also my motor/shutter inside the dash "IS" working properly, i can hear it moving around when i change the different ac/heat settings etc.'
Any ideas?

Is the AC compressor and condensor fan going when you turn it on? Is there an obstruction in the cowl? IE: has the car been painted where a piece of masking paper may have been left there? Is the blower smooth or does it rumble? If it rumbles, it may be covered with leaves, insulation, etc. You can just take out the 3 screws, clean, and reinstall.
You say the damper door is operating. Have you verified function of both the temperature door (the one run by a cable) and the location select dampers?? The location select is electrical and it may be stuck, unplugged, etc.

the fan im talking about is the fan thats under the hood by the ac compressor, the fan inside the car dosnt seem to be working or else id probably hear it and/or have some sort of air coming out of the vent's, havnt been able to test the temp selection because no air is coming out at all, reguardless i kind of discarded that because the fact theres 0 air reguardless of speed and/or position, if it was that cable id still get "some-air", just wouldnt be able to change it from hot/cold/temp. The position selection/location select sounds like its working fine, i can cycle through the buttons and hear it working properly'.
i cant hear anything from inside the cab besides the fan thats under the hood by the ac compressor, im gonna drop the blower from under the glovebox and see if its clogged up or something

i would check for blown fuses, if its not blowing any air period, check the blower motor thats where your problem is at, the blower motor may be locked up check to see if you can spin it freely, also take a multimeter to the wire going into the blower and see if your getting power to the motor, if you have power then its a bad blower motor but if theres no power then more than likely your fan speed switch went out.

fuses all look great, relays are working, condensor fan is working
the fan under the dash dosnt kick on period, ran a jumper wire from power and ground and still no go'
checked the voltage and its getting 11.5 volts
guess my fan just decided to crap out on me, it is very clean and looks perfect "go figure", gonna call a few places for a replacement and go from there
thanks for all the info fellas :goodpost:
