A/C in LS swapped 93 Civic CX HB

Post by 92_luder »

I plan on getting my a/c lines together for my a/c swap. i already have the under dash box and the wires.

I Need:

Hi/Lo lines
Condensor
Fan

Can I get theses part for a 93 civic from any 92-95 Civic/del sol or does it have to be a 93 etc etc.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

If you plan on keeping the evaporator and wiring original, you can only use '92-'93 Civic A/C components.

No, your gunna have to do what I did and get the 92-93 entire setup with either a delsol vtec or a crv ac bracket. Everything for mine came from a 92-93, lines, condenser, compressor, and wiring. The only thing different was the ac mount bracket.

Just like that one, without the valve adjustment tool.

Pretty much everything 93 and older is compatible with 93 and older. 94 and newer is compatible with 94 and newer.

If you do use an integra compressor, you need an integra condensor....and you'll need to make mounts for it as well, which isn't too bad. You will use the factory ac compressor bracket for an integra as well. 94-01 integra lines off of the compressor must be used if you go this route...these are the 2 lines directly off the compressor....most other lines you can use from either a civic or an integra, which makes sourcing lines a little easier. This is all for the 94-01 integra....I have no idea on the 90-93 model.

If it were me, I would switch everything to 94-up components....get a new expansion valve in the evap core area....as well as a new dryer (should be around $50-75).

Got it right Rich, you need ALL D series EXCEPT for this bracket and it bolts straight to it, just did mine and got it charged and its cold like a champ!
