When I bought my car, it had Mobil1 run through it since the engine swap. I wasn't about to break the habit, but I'm a lot less anal about when to do it.

I use Mobil1 as well and it works great for me.

You can buy Royal Purple at Advanced for $7.00 a quart I do believe.

I used to run a blend in my engine because I am not a big fan of switching to full synthetics on a motor with 75k.

Castrol or Mobil blends for me... royal purple is good oil too. I can get it for a good deal locally and not have to deal with adrenaline... nothing personal, just too many people always hanging out there and all that nonsense drifter crap for me.

edit: suprised no one has mentioned amsoil yet... all this talk of royal purple baller oil.

amsoil is about the best shit you can get for anything... oil, tranny fluid, etc.

but they make it so hard to get. gotta find a dealer and then they have to order it. arrrg
