Ok so my Vafc isnt reading any throttle response. I dont know if its a big deal or not but I was just wondering what would cause this. Like where it would say how much your on the throttle and it would give out a %. No matter if I floor ir or not it wont read anything. Thanks for your help.

Check the input for the throttle wire at the ECU and check to make sure your TPS is plugged in. If both of those are good, check the codes on your ECU and see if the TPS code comes up.

Well see it idles around 3,000 but I thought that due to no throttle bracket. But I havent had a chance to go to the boneyard yet and find one. So I guess yes its having issues.N2HIFI;51607 wrote:yes and no are you haveing any throttle related issues?, mu TPS sensor on the EF is bad and i do not have a throttle signal at my vafc either but my ecu does not need a tps signal to allow the car to run right (because its chipped)

Spray around the intake manifold with some Starting fluid that will tell ya if your intake gasket isn't compressed and it's breathing past. I've done it a few times swapping manifolds and makes for a quick way to find out something.
