Post by 91b16Adx »

ok so i got the timing right and the car seems to be cranking right. the car is only thorwing one code(code 6 ECT[engine coolant temp]) but i dont know what the hell this is or where its at..can someone tell me where this sensor is located?also i have a green elictrical plug that doesnt seem to have an adapter to go into just hanging under my intake manifold. the car has no ps or ac so it may be irrelevant but i have to be sure. can someone please tell me what the ect is and also i need to know the firing and distributor order just to double check because i just went by length(seems to be ok tho). maybe it could be a ground somewhere?where are all the grounds anyway? or if any of you guys have any experience with common problems on b16a's starting let me know. any help is greatly appreciated, this is my only day off and ive been toying with this thing all day. HALP.

It's on the head on the left side right below the coolant hose, or if it's a b16a like im assuming its right under the vtec solinoid.

Honestly I have no clue if it will run right and don't wanna say it will, as far as I know it will just make the temp gauge not work. I would really want all sensors and everything hooked up on the car so I know it's 100% if I was you ya know.

is it possible to 'mod' a thermostat plug into my harness?id rather not waste money on a whole new harness
