Where to get a fatter head gasket?
cometic makes one for .51 but bigger?
I need a fat head gasket to lower the compression. right now i have srp 10.7 pistons and the head is shaved .24. I am guessing the compression should be 11-11.2 to 1. i would like to get under 10.5 and do 5-8lbs of boost. i know it is high but if done right is should be a good setup!
Also I have the crower 404 cams and i have dont know if i can just adjust my camgears to get more less cam overlap for boost, or get new ones???

since you are burning so much oil already, i would get that aken care of before you put boost to it. while youre down there, why not swap those slugs out with new ones.

I'd suggest going for lower compression pistons. Changing HG thickness seems to be a fine tuning tool only, not for changing CR drastically. You're right to worry about the cam overlap. An aggressive NA cam will not be beneficial with a turbo. Not sure if you can fix that with camgears.

Hit the nail on the head. Don't cheap out on your build, you might regret it in the end.niket;55101 wrote:I'd suggest going for lower compression pistons.
