Justin have a mod move this to engine tech, and I just reliazed you might need to get a cat that is made for D16Y7(normal cat) for it work bc the hf has a built in cat.

yes it'll work. all you'll be doing is converting it into a D16z6/D16y8 engine or more like a mini-me.

It will work, but say goodbye to your cat.

True you will loose your cat in the setup and will have to go get exhaust work done in the end but it will be a great power adder for your car.

You loose weight from the cast iron manifold/cat and put on a lighter header with a highflow cat and change the exhaust to 2.25" into a muffler of your choice and its a great setup.

yeah, but who knows if he wants to keep his car as a daily driver with little mods at the moment. What if he doesn't have the money laying around to do a hmt or to get a turbo kit, for light gains in power for little money a exhaust system is a good way to go, honestly I get my buddy to my exhaust and a $300 exhaust system costs me a $110. All you gotta do is make friends or have friends who weld, luckly my buddy decided to work at a exhaust shop so I get shit at cost.
