this is probably the best write up i've seen

adding the ls or b20 bottom end is going to give you a lot more torque than the b16 will ever give you. you could also actually take your b16 pistons and throw them in the ls block and give your compression a nice little boost as well.

As for the motor, when i did my lsvtec i bought a complete ls motor also, but if i were doing it again, i would try and find just a block. you can search around and find an ls block in need of a rebuild for around $100. you're going to want to replace just about everything anyways, so you might as well buy a cheap one.

ShitStreak: Why wouldn't you use a b16 to make an Ls/Vtec? Cheaper than doing it to an Ls & it's a great head.

06fg1: Don't believe me on the title, contact the DMV. Why does it need a bottom end? So possibly the ecu is messing up now after your said it was fine & it makes the car a POS? Don't think so. I drove the damn thing for a month & didn't have a problem. I told you the problems I knew of. If you don't want the car anymore i'll gladly buy it back...for the $1100 I paid for it.

H0MO-MAN: I didn't know switching blocks bumps your tq. up a few lbs.-ft. Go fuck yourself. I asked a simple question that needed no input from you. Cloud 9 wish they had you? Please. No one wants to see your pieces of shit on the road, but its not like they stay on the road for long anyway.

There was no need for him to answer my question the way he did. He made no effort to help me at all. The guy does nothing for the site, I don't see why hes still here. He buys cars for cheap, comes on here and brags about it, and sells them on here for twice as much to the first sucker he finds. Thats not what StlHondas is about. He can take his ass over to EBAY. I think I have a right to have an attitude about this subject.

In that way? He just answered your question. If you get pissed off every time someone answers your question you got problems.

Now your complaining about a man that makes money by buying and selling cars? Its business. If you don't like the price offer a lower one or don't buy it. Caveat Emptor

I answered your question that way because your in a thread you have no knowledge of. Your trying to tell him it's a bad idea when clearly it's not. If you would of came in & just asked questions instead of how you did it, then there wouldn't be an issue. The cloud9 thing is a joke. If my cars are so horrible, how come people buy them? Oh ya, because they aren't so horrible. I've sold 30+ hondas & have only had about 2 issues so far, 1 was a title issue which I resolved & the other was with the crx I sold Brettk7 or whatever. Which I don't even know what the hell went wrong there. You also just called 06fg1 a sucker. Which isn't what StlHondas is about. I buy & sell cars. I do give input here where I can. The only reasons I stated how much I bought the civic for was because he is sitting there calling it a POS. I daily drove the thing for a month & had NO issues. The previous owner drove it for over a year & had NO issues, just did basic maintence. So if he wants to talk poorly upon a good car that I sold him. Then I have an issue.

OK, he answers my questions by saying...
H0NDA-MAN wrote:You seem to have a real attitude...
and calling me...
H0NDA-MAN wrote:ShitStreak: Why wouldn't you...
It wasn't necessary to answer me like that...and I'm the one with an attitude?

OK, I understand its a busniess. This is StlHondas, "an enthusiast network", not EBAY, "come and sell your shit here". We're here to help each other out, not sell pieces of shit to other memebers.
