Whats the point of doing LS/VTEC on a car that already has a B16A? It seems retarded to me to pull a perfectly good block and replace it with a non-VTEC block.

I still don't see how that makes it better then a B16A. I know it drops the compression three-tenths of a point, but that seems to be it. If displacement is what he wants, he should have just bought a GSR swapped car.btlfedgolf;40576 wrote:Displacement

You want 160hp or 180hp? You buy what you find. If he found a car as clean for the same price with a gsr he probably would of bought it but thats not what he has. You work with what you got. You seem to have a real attitude lately & it's getting annoying.SilverStreak;40579 wrote:I still don't see how that makes it better then a B16A. WTF. I asked a simple question that know no one on the board can answer. If thats annoying, get the fuck over it. I understand that you have to work with what you've got, but fuck, going from a really, really nice FG to your typical B16 EJ that has a title thats "In the mail" seems really dumb to me. And doing LS/VTEC in a car with a B16A sounds dumb too, but no one can answer my question.H0NDA-MAN;40581 wrote:You want 160hp or 180hp? You buy what you find. OK, that makes sence why your wanting to do LS/VTEC now. Yeah, it is nice to have a car thats payed off, but all that money that you were putting towards car payments is now going towards fixing/modding this car. It kinda sucks.06fg1;40592 wrote:i just figured this peice of shit civic i got from a guy who might and might not send me a title needs a bottom end. hell it needs much more then that but i figured i found one i can get it till i get the ecu probs fixed now. the peice of shit wont hardly go over 7 grand and the cel shift light comes ona round 6 now. hmmmmmm
