supercharging question about compression

Post by Drowzysleeper »

wow after that i cant make up my mind about nos and boost. lol first thing is going to be getting the engine in my hatch. nitrousjunky if you ever come into warrenton i would like to see your setup again. i think you were at some dudes house in troy one day when my buddies were trying to get a rear window out of an integra. they ended up busting it. shinigami what engine management would be the best way to go in a high boost high comp. application. prob. hondata?

supercharging question about compression

what kind of honda are you using and what year is it? if its anything between 92-00 civic or 93-01 'teg i prefer Crome or Neptune on OBD1 (if you have OBD2 you should get a chipped P28 ecu). Anything after that i'd go with the K-Pro Hondata system. Hondata is a bitch to tune with, and Crome and Neptune are just as good and free. on an 89-91 you can run turbotune on obd0 but i personally would recommend converting to OBD1. But yeah like i said i love Crome and Neptune.
90% of Honda drivers are ricers, 5% are idiots, 5% are tuners... 100% are broke.

who the hell is superdave? I'll tune your shit for free if you get Crome or Neptune.

to get crome go to www.pgmfi.org and toodle around there to get the free version of Crome, and i'm not exactly certain where to get Neptune from but i'll find it for you today if you'd like. Theres two versions of Crome, Free Crome, and CromePro, i havent worked with CromePro yet but it has alot more support for anything you could ever do (including nitrous support). The advantage of chipping is that you have 100% complete controll of everything that your ECU has access to, you can litterally run the car as if it had come stock from the factory pre-boosted at 400 hp.

Hit me up on the pm's about what kind of set-up you are looking to run and i'll direct you in the proper way to going about it.
