Getting started on the hatch, but have some ?'s

I'm going to get started on the hatch this weekend. I just picked upa complete z6 head, intake, tb and everything connected to it. But I gotta few questions. I have a JDM d15b and am installing the z6 stuff I just got. What on the JDM is interchangable? The only bad thing is the #2 valves on the head. The cam and everything should be good and I have been told it's more agressive than the z6 cam. Could I or should I use any of the internals, like the cam, of the JDM on the z6? Also...would anyone give me the pros and cons of wiring vtec or just using a controller.
