what kind of oil do you use?

Brad Penn Racing Oil... ftw.

has much higher levels of zinc dithiophosphate (zddp) compared to just about any other oil... mobil, castrol, quaker state, redline, royal purple, etc.

I was running the Castrol Syntec blend and when I took the engine apart it still looked brand new. There was no build up at all.

Dap hatch: Stock motor so whatever Erik Le put in there when he changed the oil lol

When the B16 goes in ill be using a 10w-30 Honda brand oil, which is a mobile synthetic blend, changed every 2000 miles

I'm pretty sure the stuff you get from most Honda dealers is Mobile conventional. Rebadged Mobil Clean 5000. I used to buy my oil from the dealer until Vincel started to be douchebags about it. For some strange reason STL Acura uses Castrol Synthetic Blend. I never have figured that one out.

quaker state peak peformance. weight? what ever i feel like running that oil change. altho i have 2 cases of 10-40 and 3 gallon jugs of 5-30 in the garage. filter walmart/fram/advance whatever i get teh cheapest

well thats better imo lol id rather use a conventional oil that will protect better and wont last as long rather than a synthetic oil that is made to last a really long time

full synthetic valvoline 5w30. i worked at many car shops in my opinion its the best oil out there because it clean more than any other oils.....

huh?

you guys do you know you cant tell shit just from looking at oil right? doesnt matter if it "looks" dirty or not. doesnt mean it is. or still not doing the job as if it were new.

the only way to tell anything about oil is send some off for a oil analysis.
