Hello, I was just wanting to ask a few questions. Alright, first off, I drive a 97 Civic LX sedan with the original motor. It has about 180k ok it >.< and I am wanting to do an engine swap. Wanting to put a V6 in it so I can twin turbo it. Would this be possible? Could I put an RSX engine in it? If not, what would people suggest? Thank you for all your advice and opinions,
Chris

Lol I want to go fast. But I want something unique, something not many people have done. If it costs 5k for an engine swap, it costs 5k, I will just try and save up the money lol. Why forget about the V6??

well your looking at like $8k for the RSX swap maybe more IDK.. and the V6 would be rare hah, I am no expert but I would say impossible due to the size, unless again you wanted to spend $10k.

Yeah I figured it'd be pretty expensive. Also was wondering about the whole not fitting thing, cause of it's size..Hmm..But if I got a small V6 or somethin? Haha if I crammed a V6 in there, I prolly wouldn't have ROOM for the twin turbo setup that I want to have..Damn..Well, any other suggestions? Wanting a twin turbo setup, and I'm pretty sure I have to have a V6, right? One for each header. Anywho, if anyone knows if this is possible, let me know and what your opinion/preference on engine would be (personally am wanting an RSX motor lol) and around what price you think it would be. Thanks.zrs6v4;23943 wrote:well your looking at like $8k for the RSX swap maybe more IDK.. and the V6 would be rare hah, I am no expert but I would say impossible due to the size, unless again you wanted to spend $10k.

Hondas have been around for so long man, that finding something unique is going to be pretty tough. V6 would definitly be unique, but good luck trying to figure out how to get that to work. A k20 swap will probably run you around 8-10k, but it is a sick swap. Turbo your k20 and you have something that is definitly fast and unique (at least to St. Louis). Remember though, if you want something fast, you can do a nice b series swap and turbo it for a reasonable price. If you start trying to do unique stuff your defitly going to be paying for it.

Lol I know. That's why I want a V6, cause I haven't seen any with a V6 I don't think. Besides the Acura RSXs of course. Yeah, I was also wondering about the K20. I don't know much about that., though. I would do a B series, except it's so common it's not even funny, lol. Would really like a V6 or K20, though. All I know about the K20s are that they are fast lol. Hmm but still V6 is more unique.
