Ok, well you all know that my DD has a DOHC ZC instead of its old DPFI D15 now. but its still not running right a month after the swap. keep in mind that the swap required a DPFI to MPFI conversion and that the DOHC ZC has an external cam position sensor (cps) on the exhaust cam. PG7 ECU is being used
Here is what wrong:
-The car starts and runs with a idle of about 400RPMs
-When driving the car has absolutely NO power
-the ECU code that flashes is no. 4 (Crank angle Sensor)
When we have had time, Andyjt and I have worked on this thing to try and getting it going, here is what we have done so far:
-Redid the wiring from the distributor to the ECU, re soldered everything, so all the connections are strong
-checked to make sure the distributor wires were in the correct position (B10 & B12) we checked numurous times, everything was correct
-measured resistance in the CPS, everything checked out fine
-measured resistance on the crank angle sensor in the distributor, everything checked out fine
-tried a PM6 ECU instead of the PG7, nothing changed
-swapped in a perfect working distributor from the CRX, nothing changed
-swapped in a perfect working cps from the CRX, nothing changed
The car is still flashing the ECU code and is still running like crap. does anybody have any ideas on what it could be? I have run out of ideas to try and I need to get this car running, its been down for way to long. thanks in advance for the help.

whats your timing set at? does it hit the fuel cut at 4-5k rpm? have you tryed running just two new wires for the crank angle sensor, does the crank angle sensor have to be installed a certain way? is it wrong? did you ring out your connections with a multimeter to make sure they go to the right pin on the ecu plug? if you need me to i can come by and take a look :dunno:

-I honestly don't know, i have taken it up that high yet
-yes, they go straight from the sensor to the ECU
-it does, but it is installed correctly
-the plugs go to the right ECU pins, andy checked it over and over using both the hasport, Chilton's and the factory Honda wiring diagrams as references
I dunno either, ill give you a call soon

i hope this helps
edit: some of my buddies did some swaps over to mpfi and they said theres a couple wires that you gotta put in a different spot other than what the manuals show you...i think he said its 1 or 2 wires that gotta be switched but dont hold me to that

TPS wires were switched.
Wired Cyl sensor to pins C1 and C2
-Wire goes from cyl sensor in Dist. Directly to ECU.
Moved crank sensor wires from C1/C2 to b10/b12.
--Wired crank sensor on exhaust cam to pins stock wiring harness pins by distributor plug.
