Like i said most people wanting to swap their motors dont have access to welding equipment. you can swap a b without welding or cutting anything.

I did pay about that much for the swap, and a little lower for the turbo kit, but with LABOR thats why the motor swap cost so much. If i would have bought the motor and shit myself and installed it with myself and friends... then it would have been alot less...

Now, if I would have swapped in an H series into my car and then turbo'd that..I know for fuvking sure, it would have cost me more than what I paid to swap and turbo the B.

/ Rant. :D
I'm still a neighborhood ASSHOLE!

Yeah h internals are not cheaper then b's.. since b parts have been so widely developed they are cheaper. Plus you dont have to sleeve them to build a strong bottom end.

Yeah but you couldn't do it for that cheap if you wanted to. Either could 99.9% of the peeps. You would spend about 7 to 8k with the motor swap, turbo kit, and tuning/management. And thats with A STOCK MOTOR.

negative rep wrote: That was not necessary.
my response: my thread, I'll post an assload of quoting if I want. maybe someone will find something in those posts to respond to and stimulate more discussion. so you can negi-rep me if you want, and you don't have to read it,I don't care, but its staying in the thread. and thanks for deciding that, of all of my posts, that one should earn me my first negative rep (and probably this one, my second)

i'm still not seeing links and very much hard evidence. :wtf:
