brake roters (front and back)- power slot or brembo
cv axle passenger front- I would say if you don't have any MAJOR hp OEM
clutch- im a fan of ACT stage II

aren't power slots made from brembo blanks? or am i thinking of something else?99preludesh;9077 wrote:brake roters (front and back)- power slot or brembo
If you are possibly getting rid of that engine in a year or so i wouldn't worry about getting a hi-po clutch. just get an oem one for the time being. the h22 on the other hand....

I dont know if they are made from the brembo blanks but I was thinking power slot as in cross drilled or slotted. I have the cross drilled in the front, only because someone told me they didnt make the slotted in the front *cough adreniline is wrong again cough*, and I have the slotted in the rear and I like them a lot and they have lasted a long time.budget_crx;9135 wrote:aren't power slots made from brembo blanks? or am i thinking of something else?

I just drove the car about 50 miles today. It definately has tons of potential.
I was probably going to go with the cheaper non-slotted brembo discs. The car definately needs that cv joint.
here are the priorities for repairs in order:
Timing belt/water pump
cv joint
Brakes
suspension (its not bad, but its definately soft. i want to lower it a bit and make it much stiffer/better handling)
exhaust (its oem aftermarket and its pretty sour shape)
the body is pretty good-a few parking lot dents here and there, but no rust at all. im pretty happy about this purchase-$1800!
I will post some pics soon

If this becomes a "project" car with the club, what do you guys want in payback?
