water/alcohol injection?

If you have hotspots than you need to get your A/F ratio right, get it tuned so its not running so lean. besides the alcohol will do much more cooling than the water will...
Well, using gasoline as a cooling agent (richining it) only absorbs 1/6th of heat than what water can. And since water delays the initial burn, advancing the timing is neccesary. So, using water means more available volume for oxygen. So you can increase boost without worrying about blowin your block/or putting a hole in your piston. And didn't know alcohol would a have a better cooling effect, I read more articles and your right about that.

Here's a article I read, I thought it was kinda cool http://www.aquamist.co.uk/info/document ... ection.htm :)

I have never heard anything good about water injection, like i said earlier its a failsafe. advance timing is not what you want either, ever heard of a boost retard? I would suggest dropping the water and just sticking with the alcohol. not only does it cool better, but it raises the octane of the fuel, allowing much more boost, something water could never do

notice that the site is a co.uk meaning a british site, they are the only people I still see using water injection. and come on, we all know the brits are crazy

well it could be sprayed into your intake like the water injection, or it could be fed through your fuel system which would require new lines and gaskets that are alcohol safe. otherwise the gaskets and such will get eaten by the alcohol
