Hey take pics of your feed lines, Like your oil feed lines and if your system uses fluid to cool also like my 14b will take pics of the feed and return. Honestly I know where to feed the oil from and return the oil, the problem I'm having is the coolant feed and return. I thought about feeding from the T/B and returning to a heater core line by tapping into it, but if you have a better suggestion post it.
Need pics A.S.A.P already started mocking the turbo up and the new manifold comes in thursday which means friday after work its gonna start getting bolted together.
Also which one welds the best cause I needs a downpipe mocked up and made.

i know 99blackhatch and i dont have coolant feed lines and i dont remember about budget, but i think he does. i would redirect from the block to the throttle body, then to the turbo. that way, the turbo doesnt heat up the coolant before it goes into the throttle body and warm up the charged air more than it is already warmed.

rediredt the return line to the back of the T/B? So thenI should feed from the front of the T/B

it doesnt matter if you take it from the front of the throttle body or the back. just make sure you have a coolant hose coming off of the block going to the throttle body, and then coming out of the throttle body going to the turbo, and then going from the turbo to where ever the coolant hose was originally going when it exited the throttle body.90CivicEx;3945 wrote:rediredt the return line to the back of the T/B? make sense?

Makes sense no lol. See I was gonna T from the hose going from the block to the T/B "the front hose" and make that my feed line. Then I was gonna return to the back of the manifold since theres a extra line for coolant on the z6 manifold, but honestly I don't know if thats another feed line or what.

just take the two coolant lines going to and coming from the throttlebody off dont even run them to the throttle body, what do you want to heat up the intake for? not good when your talking forced induction, unless you have a high ilde control valve in which case you have to run them back, or you could make a plate and block it off like me
or even a throttle body without one. after you remove the coolant lines there will be two fittings that arent hooked up, one coming from the intake and one coming from the pipe running along the back of the block get your self about 14' of 3/8" low pressure fuel line(yes fuel line they dont sell 3/8" heater hose at least not that i have seen) or whatever size you might need 14' will be on the long side but rather too much than too little you can always cut it off. since the turbo will be mounted so low it doesnt matter what coolant line goes were on the turbo, and make sure you get some nice stainless steel hose clamps...

so the coolant lines on the back and front of the throttle body just plug up and the two lines that were used for that use to feed and return from the turbo?

all your doing is taking the throttle body out of the loop and replacing it with the turbo. since you have a z6 your gonna have to run coolant lines to the high idle control valve or take it off and block it with a plate or use a throttle body from a b18 or sumthing with out the high idle control valve...90CivicEx;3953 wrote:so the coolant lines on the back and front of the throttle body just plug up and the two lines that were used for that use to feed and return from the turbo?

understandable, the setup is starting friday assuming my manifold will be here. I'll take pics and post em as I go to see if I'm hitting close on the coolant lines.
