Turbo ZC

Post by 91civicsi »

Well I am new to the import world, and I wanted to know about building a low budget turbo kit for my 1991 civic si with a ZC. I thought someone on here might know.

i know that you can use an hf manifold for a turbo mainfold. all you have to do on the zc is bore out the ports a lil bit for the header.

lies.

btw dont worry about porting the exhaust ports for fitting the manifold, the difference is very minimal and it actually helps prevent exhaust feed back into the engine with a small turbo. plus the smaller ports make for more velocity, egualling faster spooling.

so what kinds of things would you like to know?

actually the Greddy kit for the 92-95 civics were designed specifically for the DOHC ZC. but if you want to build your own, it will be the same as building one for any other D motor. Hf manifolds work, the rest just gets pieced together from various places

its not that its ported smaller, but the ports are about 1/8 an inch off of the standard d series exhaust port. alot of people like to port the manifold, but it really doesnt make a difference. if want to know anything ZC im your man lol :D
