Need some History on a Local CRX

Hey everyone So i am thinking about picking up a Crx but have been out of the scene for sometime. So if you could help me out with who owned/how it was maybe driven/what owner did the swap. Any Info would be greatly apperciated. Was told it was bought from a local guy.

wow this thing has been around, has cams and some other motor work, but runs rich so ur gonna need a tune. has aftermarket injectors but never tuned other than that the last 3 owners before u took really good car of it

Thanks for the Reply. The guy who has it now A.) seems like he doesn't know much about it at all and doesn't seem very mechanically inclined B.) has only owned it a month. nice guy but still. And Redline you remember my Blue DA? Its a straight trade for it. Is the org owner a member on here?

Also i noticed it had a Aftermarket Fuel pressure regulator on it as well. Any thoughts to putting an OEM on?

Ricerocket used to own the car I know he took extremely good care of the car. He would know some of the information on the car but I know if was cammed before he got it

Thanks for the help. The tail lights look the best in the car, So glad you could help with the install on those lol

i sold him the tail lights....

and everyone says its cammed, but i dont think it is and no one that i know of was able confirm it has cams in it. when it was owned by ricerocket, it had a very lopey sound to it but that was fixed when the map sensor started getting a pressure reading by switching it to a different vacuum port. the one it was on was clogged. that also fixed it running rich because the ecu finally knew what amount of vacuum it had and could give the correct amount of fuel.

Ya it still has that sound to it. But on another note it seems that the valvetrain seems pretty noise. My when i had the H22 in the EG it didnt seem to be that noisy but maybe its just the differences in motors. Not to sure.

Either way its amazing car to drive and is alot of fun. :rock:
