because the auto has the iacv located on the bottom of the throttle body. the manual has the iacv located on the back of the intake manifold.
you could get a manual throttle body, but then you will need to drill the holes in the intake manifold for the manual iacv and tap the holes for the two 12mm bolts. then you would have to get a manual y8 iacv also.

You should be able to use the P2E as a temporary solution. I would suggest fixing the knock sensor before using it. And remember that it's a temporary fix. You'll want to get the appropriate manifold or as rickles said, drill and tap your current manifold ASAP. I just prefer using a manual version over drilling/tapping as it's easier and not difficult to find at all.
ok thanks for all the help guys. i have one more question if i happen to find a manual intake without the injectors would i be able to use the ones from the automatic intake?

confused on if this would work for my car because it says that he is using the p28 ecu and im using the p2p ecu. so the pinouts in this diagram wouldnt be correct right????
As far as the injectors go, you can reuse the D16Y8 injectors no matter if they're from an automatic or manual car. They're the same injector. As for running you car with the D16Y8 using a P2E, I would suggest using the D16Y7 injectors while you're doing that. Some people say Y7 injectors are 240cc, others say they're 190cc. I've never found any hard evidence to prove either correct, but they do have different part numbers.
What N2HIFI posted is what needs to be done once you get the 2-Wire IACV on the car using a manual P2P ECU. Here is a bit more focused approach on how to rewire your engine harness.
i just put the p2e in and the idle is still pulsating but its a lot better. its actually drivable now. im hoping to get the new intake before saturday so i can get vtec hooked an so it will run right. thanks again for all the info.
