Sighting/Kill of a ZoomZoom

Post by tbrazzy-s3 »

Driving home from the Mills mall, minding my own.

Setting: 270 N near Lindbergh.

Plot: Not sure really.

Participants: Myself in my stock as stock GSR (cross your fingers that this changes soon.) and a Gunmetal/Dark Grey Mazda (not great with mazda so it could have been a 3, 6, 9, or a 27 for all I know). Looked like the front grill had been popped out. He was running with some mad tyte awesome ZOOM ZOOM stickers on the side and a ridiculously angled fart-can.

Anyways,

I'm minding my own and I see headlights flying up behind me in my rear-view. I had a slight flashback of being rear ended by the drunk driver last February, so I changed lanes just in case. Said Mazda flies up next to me and the driver and his boy in the passenger seat both start mean muggin little ole me. I had nothing else to do tonight so I braked and dropped behind him.

Lots of traffic at the time, he did a really poor job of trying to maneuver through traffic. We got some open space and I dropped into 3rd. He started 3-4 car lengths ahead of me but by the middle/end of 4th I was riding his ass and admiring the ridiculous angle of his fart can.

I moved into an open lane and just coasted seeing if he wanted another run. Instead he just floored it and went off swerving through traffic.

Anybody seen/raced/know this guy? I don't really think I like him that much. He did give me a small amount of entertainment for the night though, so. Can't really complain.

This wouldnt really be a kill since you technically didnt beat him................ and this deff wasnt a speed3, they are quick, it was probably just a regular mazda 3.

I think I saw this person not long ago doing the same shenanigans on I-270.

On a side note. I'm pretty sure one of my friends saw you the other day, Tyler. He asked if I knew someone with a clean GSR and a gnarly haircut. I figured it had to be you. He said it looked like your hair hit VTEC. LOL

lol, that'd probably be me. Plus I've been lazy lately and got my beard going on. gnarly is probably pretty apt.

Notice that I put this thread in the "Sightings" section rather than a kill and focused more on the mazda itself rather than my car doing all sorts of impressive things. And I assumed as such after googling stock 1/4 mile times for the Speed3's. thanks for the clarification though.
