my car (93 EX) has been untouched for about a month now and i went the other day to start and drive it and as soon as i depressed the brake pedal, i could hear a relay click near the glove box and the pedal had very little resistance when i fully depressed it. i started bleeding the brakes but there is no difference in the way the pedal is behaving. is there a relay that could have shorted out that could be causing this problem? my ABS light has been on since i bought the car but checked out the sensors and they are all fine. it seems like the whole electrical system wants to shut down when the brakes are pressed, the dash lights flicker then return to normal.
Any suggestions? i think i might have to rake it somewhere and get the brakes flushed. the car is driveable and will stop, just in twice the distance.
Brake relay click
