I think I am going to give DDM a try... 55w 8000k since the higher wattage cuts down on the blue tintage. Also, do you know if my 2008 Civic SI Sedan would need the error eliminator to prevent any kind of signal lights from showing up in my dash display?02Type-S;239587 wrote:A lot of ppl on here run the DDM kits, they have 35 watt and 55 watt, just depends how much light you want. When I do installs, its usually 6000k 35 watt. The ppl I do them for love them.
The HIDs in my TL-S came standard, I dont have a kit in the Integra yet, needs a clutch first haha
I am going to get the 55w 8000k bulbs I think and see how they look. Ill definitely let you know...06sik20z3;239596 wrote:i have a 35w 6k in mine from ddmtunning they take forever to get shipping is sloooow if you go with them try the 55w i wanna see what they look like

What do you mean cuts down? My 8k and 10k were extremely blue there was no cutting down to it lol.Pfister07;239598 wrote:I think I am going to give DDM a try... 55w 8000k since the higher wattage cuts down on the blue tintage. Ha, I'm just relaying what the DDM site said, here it is straight from their web page:MaSSaCrE;239600 wrote:What do you mean cuts down? My 8k and 10k were extremely blue there was no cutting down to it lol.
Due to the power of the 55W ballast, the output is slightly washed out as seen above. We sell bulbs with kelvin ratings that range from 3000K to 12000K. 3k being yellow and 12k being the bluish in color. The most popular color we sell is 6000k. That would be described as white with a hint of blue. For maximum visibility, we would recommend staying within 4500K-6000K. The closer the color is to natural sunlight, the more you will see on the road.
Do you have the 55w 8000k? If so, were they really blue? Should I stick to the 55w 6000k if I just want a hint of blue?

I had 35w 8k,10k, 12k. 8 was light blue,10 was dark blue, 12 was purple with a shade of blue to it. So even with 55k Id still think that it would come out blue

A 55w 8k kit looks like a 6k kit in color bc of the color wash due to higher light levels.MaSSaCrE;239611 wrote:I had 35w 8k,10k, 12k. 8 was light blue,10 was dark blue, 12 was purple with a shade of blue to it. So even with 55k Id still think that it would come out blue

Just drop in a K&N filter.
Then suspension.
After doing your suspension right, you should be broke.
dont paint or tint anything.

Figure out what you want with the car and see what other people did to get there. These threads are dumb.

Yeah, as I start to poke around the forum more, I am getting more ideas just from checking out other peoples posts. I guess it was a dumb thread to start, but still gave me some ideas!92egdxhatch;239655 wrote:Plus Juan
