More Expensive? Yet cheaply built. The TC is clearly a better deal/investmentSlowOne.5;189368 wrote:i know, right?

While the initial MSRP of these 2 cars from different classes might show that the Malibu is more expensive...right off the lot the Malibu's value drops below that of the tC...and continues to fall until it's like every other GM car - not worth its weight in scrap metal. Furthermore, MSRP on GM cars is a silly thing to bring up since they end up rebating and discounting thier cars far more than just about any Japanese import. Sure, GM wants to get $21K for a Malibu, but the buying public knows that there are better cars out there for the same price, so GM/dealerships end up cutting down the price til they get someone that just needs a car and doesn't care much about it to bite based on price alone, and a salesman that could talk them into buying a razor scooter for a 25 mile commute.SlowOne.5;189368 wrote:

why are you comparing a bmw to a tc anyways? bmw makes better vehicles than the economy shitbox you drive. for a car that costs 17k, you should have chose more wisely. i'm not jealous of a tc. tc's are jealous of me.SilverSharKette;189465 wrote:Finally met someone smart on this site... And is not about which car is more expensive because Yah you can go purchase.. for example.. a bmw x4 which has the same power if not less than my TC...
About what brand and quality ya want..
Don't be jealous of my TC beauty
Got slammed near SLU last friday and lost that phone, don't worry tho, several missed calls, texts, and hours later I found it in my glove box LOL!SilverSharKette;189465 wrote:Finally met someone smart on this site... (And with a great phone too)

You only buy a car once...and eventually, if the car doesn't get totalled, you have to sell it. Wouldn't you like to see more of your investment back rather than saying "well I paid $4,000 more for this when I could have bought a tC", or is initial purchase price more important to you, Kelly?
While BMW's are nice, they are expensive, and expensive to maintain if you don't do everything yourself. While I may have bought something other than a TC, I'd rather make the payments on the TC over a brand new Beemer. The TC is a 2 door Corolla S, and last time I checked the Corolla is no slouch when it comes to lasting quality.Mr. Integra;189475 wrote:why are you comparing a bmw to a tc anyways? bmw makes better vehicles than the economy shitbox you drive. for a car that costs 17k, you should have chose more wisely. i'm not jealous of a tc. tc's are jealous of me.
