Cut out

Experiencing a cut out in third gear about 7k and on through 4th and 5th. Pulls fine through first and second and third until 7k. I realize it could be many things. My guess is not a proper tune, spark plugs, or maybe plugged cat. Any suggestions?

you lack some serious information. what engine? car its in? what kind of tune? stock ECU?

the previous owners buddy tuned it, its got headers, cams, injectors, throttle body, full exhaust. My guess is the shitty tune has clogged the cat for how crappy it has been running.

Do you know what size cams? injectors? throttle body? take it to a dyno and have it tuned properly.

i already told you that it needs to be tuned. you are loaded up on fuel at that point that is why its doing it. noone on here has touched that car but myself and john lowe. take it back to john so that it can be retuned. end of thread.
