how do you get them so detailed? When I do it it does get that close and i cant get a street view

Not every area has the StreetView option.

yeah in the more "rural" areas Google didn't process as much detail so you can only zoom in so far before it will say "zoom out to see these images" because there are a lot more topological changes near urban areas, the kicked up the satellite images for decent close ups
