your friend was highly misinformed .. you ever see a really nice honda and wonder man whats that lowered on , how did they get it so low ...man how do they drive like that etc.....RAF247;196461 wrote:ok so coilovers any suggestions on brands?
chances are very much that they are lowered on coilovers .. not always full sleeved coilovers but simply coilover sleeves and aftermarket shocks.
the majority of the people you ask will say something like the following
if your going to do coilovers sleeves do:
ground controls
skunk 2
form and function
and if your going to do shocks do:
koni yellows
tokico illuminas
kyb agx's
now if you want to do a full coilover setup do:
tein
d2
omni power
form function
buddy club
etc
i personally have ground controls and agk's on both of my hondas and love the ride and handling of the cars, but also on the same note alot of my friends have GC's and koni yellows or illuminas it's all up to you and your budget

If you're looking for a low cost, quality, full-bodied coilover setup then look into Racelands. This is what I ran on my Jetta and they're great. The price can't be beat either. You can sometimes get them a little cheaper through their eBay store.

If you're looking to do some sort of competition (i.e. drag racing, auto-x, etc.), I'd look into something a little better though.
