Coilovers

a friend told me that it was not a good idea to use coilovers to lower my crx (and it needs it for anyone that has seen it) what do you guys think coilovers or an alternative?? Thanks.

the guy i bought it from my manager he's the one that got it back to running shape i dont know what else i could do
