I personally think that mugen should have beefed up the engine specs and then bumped up the price so that not every 16 year old kid with his pop's money can waltz in and buy one (coming from a 17 year old). It'd make it more appealing knowing that it was faster in a straight line as well as curves.
The kit is cool and all but as far as the suspension goes, why not just buy aftermarket? How stiff could the springs be coming from the factory? Why not just buy a regular stock Si and get some quality coilovers that would be better than the Mugen's? :wtf2:

I've seen it and it's nice, but the price is a little high.

so I hear people saying that these parts are not available unless you won a mugen Si, but my question is what happens if one of these cars gets in a wreck and damages something like the lip kit, wheels, wing, badges... there is no way to order replacement parts?LS2URMOM;79797 wrote:The parts that make it Mugen are Suspension, Adjustable Spoiler, Lip Kit, Color, Badges, 18" Mugen Wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich G-Force T/A, and Shift Nob. Same engine as base model Si. I personally think they should make Civic Type R.
This post comes with a guarantee: I guarantee that I don't care what you think about it.

I'd imagine that you'd get them from the dealer but you'd have to prove to them that you own a Mugen Civic by providing the VIN, model number, proof of ownership, etc. Most dealers do this for special parts on limited edition cars.Spork;80451 wrote:so I hear people saying that these parts are not available unless you won a mugen Si, but my question is what happens if one of these cars gets in a wreck and damages something like the lip kit, wheels, wing, badges... there is no way to order replacement parts?

our parts department has the parts list for the Mugen parts...they are ridiculously expensive, but I didn't see any stipulations as far as vehicle ownership to order them.
The lugnuts are listed at $68/each!

i heard the same also, but our parts guy said that if that were the case, they would be a controlled item, like navi units and radio stuffs.

I went to Leta... That car looks damn good... I love the blue paint and the wheels....I can moderatly understand the 30K price due to limited production but that is the only way I can justify it.
