Evos are badass for a Mitsubishi
actually the motors in the evo's are a dsm powerplant, theres a badge on the firewall for it

Dont you mean Diamond Star Motorsports....I understand what your saying Jake but you clearly gotta see any mitsu in my mind powered by pretty much the same powerplant as the earlyer years with the same turbo and whatnot still remains in my mind its a DSM. I understand the motor is a bit different in some ways but still built of the same quality a DSM built right will last you along time and I understand this but still the fact remains on who built them

and the Saturn Vue has a Honda powerplant
the Saab 9-2X has a Subaru powerplant
it was a collaboration between mitsubishi and chrysler, what difference does it make that mitsubishi contined to make the 4G63 engine? it still doesn't make a evo a dsm. just like the vue isnt a honda, nor the 9-2x a subaru

I'll have to admit, I really don't have much knowledge on DSM's or Mitsubishi. I know it meant diamond star motors, and I just always thought that all Mitsubishi's were a DSM. I knew the eclipse, laser, and talon were all on the same platform (and suck balls). In any case at least we can agree on one thing that the evo is a badass car.:icon_biggrin:

Also no disrespect taken, at least you weren't an asshole and totally dogged on me for not knowing. I apreciate it.:icon_biggrin:

Don't the EVOs have the infamous 7-bolt motor? It would be interesting to see some crankwalk action right about when the warrenty is up (if it hadn't been revoked already).
