I am wondering about the power steering bracket? im not sure if thats what thats for its the one right above the ac bracket. Its attached to the frame and i seen some others with out it and i want to know if theres any negatives in removing it?

no there was no pump on my car when i got it...i was just worried because it looked like a motor mount where its bolted to the frame. Im just wanting to see if theres any ill effect to taking it out (like more engine movement)

Letting everyone know what vehicle you're talking about would help.

all you need is the braket that holds the torque mount to the engine you can take off all the rest. get new mounts from autozone and energy susspension inserts thats all you need.

The bottom braket (A/C) is needed. Because 5th Gen Civics don't have front motor mounts, they use torque mounts on the motor and transmission that bolt to the side of the car. Removing that would cause the motor to move a lot more and create traction issues. Leave it there

I'd leave the top bracket there too. Those were installed on vehicles that came from the factory without PS. The DS motor mount bracket on D motors only have two bolts that hold the base of the bracket to the motor (B motors have three IIRC), so that bracket helps keep it attached to the motor.

Edit: Energy Suspension makes a nice set of inserts for the motor mounts and torque mounts which is a cheap, easy solution. Just make sure to replace the factory mount at the same time. Innovative Mounts makes great aftermarket mounts that can be tailored to whatever your needs are.
