It is worthless considering it is Navi for Japan ONLY!
Rare part indeed, but pointless as shit to have unless you are only looking to impress people with the non-functional, super ultra rare Navi.
As for the B16 in the 99-00 Si's... these are slower than most swapped B16 civics found around here. JDM B16's came with a 170hp engine from the factory instead of the regular run of the mill 160hp found here.
Impressive motor still for it coming with a 160hp from the factory with a motor that revs to 8,200 no problem.

I agree, I haven't seen any in STS as well. Thats why I said I was surprised. I find it borderline unfair that cars running stripped interiors and swapped engines can be racing against me in STS. STS doesn't allow stripped interiors, I know this.MidoriMiller;151360 wrote:there are alot of 4th gen civic hatches in scca solo that ive seen, of those none of them were in sts, if you have an engine swap and no interior but your running street tires they wont put you in any other class except sts for point events...
I would again say that thats unfair and you might want to check your classing rules. I wont be too thrilled to compete against you in this upcoming season if you are not classing to the same rules as I am.MidoriMiller;151360 wrote:this coming season ill be racing with a B16 swap and several modifications that sts doesnt allow but since ill be running Falken azenis RT615's they will put me in STS and thats fine with me.
Sure it does however I read about it in SportsCar magazine, THE magazine of the SCCA with coverage of the national event in Topeka. Its as "autocrossy" as you can get.MidoriMiller;151360 wrote:all those other civics run in different classes or are racing in a different scca event, autocross has many names.
Gotchya, thanks for clearing that up. I'll have to call my friend a ricer now!MidoriMiller;151360 wrote:as far as Si's and Sir's, the united states only had Si's, Sir's came out in canada but they were the same as our Si's for the most part, the Sir's that most people talk about are japanese SiR's and if were talking about the same body style, like 96-00, then all civic Sir's were hatchbacks called EK4's they had alot more options than the VTi civics like power folding mirrors, B16A engine, and Navigation!! i want one haha

I know nothing about earlier civic models, but I know the 8thgens are more road course focused than autox focused... that's really the only insight I can give, haha.
