well i had my turd dyno'd and the only real interesting thing was the car was taken to 8k according to the car's tach but the dyno tach showed 7k. so i'm guessing its time to rice out my ride and get a 10k tach.
is this a common problem?
i kinda like this one as it combines multiple gauges but looking at the oil pressure part it doesn't seem to be as exact as i would like?

Behind? that would mean the stock gauge is reading higher than the autometer?HardCore97;126149 wrote:i always wondered about this because my autometer tach stays about 500 rpm behind the one in the dash when i get it on. its not as bad at first but it gets to were its about 500 rpms when i get up around 6 or 7
i'll find out tonight or tomorrow, i just got my summit gauge today. hopefully its not a pain to install. if anyone is interested pics will follow

yea typically the stock honda tach reads high and gets worse the higher the rpm's, that'swhy i rock a apexi V-afc2 because it has a extreamly accurate tach, volt and throttle position sensors built into it and it allowes you to view multiple sensor read outs at one time
