Southern Illinois Meet--Nov. 14th

There will be a meet on Sunday Nov. 14th at 2001 West Main St. in Carbondale IL starting at noon. This was scheduled specifically to be one week after Starved Rock and before Thanksgiving for everyone's convenience. This will be a modest gathering, but there will be some proper imports and good people getting together, so it should be a great time. The location is at a reserved law office parking lot on the west side of town, so it is at a good location for photos, hanging out, etc. Take advantage of this if you are within comfortable driving distance, it will surely be a good experience and a great networking opportunity. West Ky Imports has been notified of this event, and also a couple groups from the St. Louis and Champaign area. Get the word out, there is plenty of space if a gangload of cars decide to show. We just got back from the Import Alliance Fall Meet, which was a blast, so we are really trying to keep the ball rolling before the weather gets unbearable. Post your thoughts, ideas, info and plans to attend.

A formal cruise hasn't been established, but it's definitely a possibility. it really all depends on the turnout. If it is relatively large, then a full on cruise with everybody is unlikely. It's just too unmanageable. Smaller groups are sure to go cruising regardless, especially later in the day. There are some great scenic routes through southern illinois and us locals will definitely point you in the right direction, come along, etc. It's going to be a blast regardless and Carbondale is only 100mi from stl. My name is Jack and I am putting this meet together so ask for me if you come. Post up everyone! I want to know if St. Louis is going to make it happen!

carbondale sucks except for the strip clubs. which one are you visiting on this meet?

hey! im going to be there for sure. i already talked to levi about it a couple weeks ago. sounds like a killer time. im going to try to get a few of my other friends that arent on the forums to get out to this also. ill spread the word.
